Positive Movementz was put together after Events Director, TJ Burke, hosted the first annual AUTISM Frostbite 5k benefiting
Aboard, “Advisory Board on Autism and Related Disorders”. Burke was new to the Pittsburgh area in 2011 and wanted to get
involved in community activities and was looking to give back to the Autism community.
In two short months Burke put together a solid Frostbite volunteer team, partnered with the Pittsburgh Power, and landed great
Sponsorships. The Frostbite 5k had approximately 315 participants and raised roughly $7,000.00. Burke also organized a
performance by Jay Mel an up and coming artist form the area, along with a Chinese auction. Items for the Chinese auction
included a set of autographed boxing gloves form World Boxing Champion, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and an autographed jersey
from Jason Pinkston of the Cleveland Browns.
With great success from the Frostbite 5K, Burke along with the Positive Movementz Promotions Team will continue hosting
positive events throughout local communities in Western, PA and Northeast, OH.
Local communities in Western, PA and Northeast, OH can look forward to a variety of positive events that will benefit everyone.
Recently, TJ Burke partnered with Owner of the WPA Wildcatz, an indoor developmental football team, to create the POIFL,
Penn-Ohio Indoor Football League. THE POIFL contracted with the H3 Sports Facility in New Castle, Pennsylvania. The
