Memorial Page & their mission to honor
America's fallen law enforcement heroes. More
than 20,000 officers have made the ultimate
sacrifice in the United States and it is with great
honor that the ODMP pays a lasting tribute to
each of these officers by preserving their
memories within its pages. Everyone who visits
the ODMP will be profoundly moved by the
countless stories of selfless courage and heroism
exhibited by officers who lost their lives while
serving our communities.

The Pittsburgh Officers Down 5K is an annual
event representing and celebrating officers who
have fallen protecting our communities, as well
as the officers who serve us daily. This event will
be held in Pittsburgh, but we encourage people
from all over to participate. A police procession
will take place prior to the 5K run so we are
asking all departments to please send a cruiser
to participate in this event.

Cranberry Cpl. Dan Hahn will open up the 2nd Annual
PITTSBURGH Officers Down 5K on May 12th.
A police procession following his speech will enter South
Park at approximately 0950am..
Cpl. Hahn was seriously injured after falling more than 20
feet from a highway overpass following a high-speed car
chase on Feb. 14, 2011 that began in Sewickley Hills and
ended on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township.
In an effort to elude police from multiple departments, the
driver of the car jumped from an overpass. Hahn, not
knowing what was beneath, followed.
